involve.me vs Outgrow vs Typeform vs Calconic: put a quote calculator on your website and see which plan actually fits (2026 pricing)

You want a prospect to price their own job on your website, answer one qualifying question and land in your inbox with the number attached. On their published plans, all four tools on this page can build that; they differ on what you pay to take the vendor's logo off, how they count your traffic, and where the lead ends up. Set your own numbers below and see which plan actually fits.

Disclosure: We earn a commission if you subscribe through links marked "affiliate link" on this page. It doesn't change our ranking or verdicts; here's how we test.

Prices on this page were checked on the vendor pricing pages on 2026-09-13. Hands-on test notes and screenshots are being added product by product; until a section carries the tested tag it's marked documentation-based and describes the vendor's published plans and limits. We label drafts rather than fake tests.

Buy this if the calculator is a sales asset

involve.me — Formulas, scoring, emailed results and a CRM in the box from US$49 a month (US$29 on annual billing). Budget for Grow at US$99 (US$69 annual) if the watermark can't show; it includes one custom domain.

Buy this if it's calculators plus quizzes

Outgrow — US$22 a month (US$14 annual) for 250 leads and five pieces of content. Outgrow's branding stays on everything below the US$720 Business plan, so price that in.

Buy this if it's really a nice intake form

Typeform — One question at a time, calculations on every plan including free. 100 responses on Basic at US$29 runs out fast; branding removal starts at Plus, US$59.

Don't pay much yet if the sum is simple

Calconic — US$6 a month billed quarterly (US$5 annual) for an embedded calculator with your branding, emailed results and PayPal. No CRM, no scoring, and we're not paid for saying so.

Set what yours has to do. The plan each vendor would put you on, and what it costs on monthly and annual billing, updates as you type. A card says meets selected requirements only when the vendor's published plan covers everything you ticked; where the vendor's page doesn't state a limit, the card says so and stays out of the recommendation. Before tax and optional extras; not a supplier quote.

Formula: base + units × rate, then × 1.2 if rush. That's the whole workflow: a base fee, a quantity, a rate, one conditional, and the result emailed to the prospect. On the vendors' published feature lists every tool on this page can build it; hands-on results are labelled tested product by product as they're completed, and until then the sections below are documentation-based.

Plan gates come from the four vendor pricing pages, checked 2026-09-13. Every tool embeds on every plan, so "on my website" costs nothing extra; what costs extra is removing the vendor's branding and hosting a standalone page on your own domain. Outgrow counts leads, Typeform counts responses, involve.me's free plan counts submissions and visits, Calconic counts views; a completed quote is one of each. Needs vendor confirmation marks a limit or condition the vendor's page doesn't state; we don't guess it, and those cards don't win the recommendation. Outgrow offers branding removal and a custom domain on Essentials "with small business incentive", which the page doesn't define, so we price those on Business.

involve.me documentation-based

involve.me is the tool on this page that treats a quote calculator as a business asset rather than a form with a sum in it. Formulas, conditional branches, answer scoring, an emailed result and a built-in CRM are all on Start, which is US$49 a month on monthly billing or US$29 a month if you pay the year upfront. That's the number to compare, not the US$29 the pricing page leads with; the toggle defaults to annual.

What Start doesn't do is take involve.me's watermark off your calculator. That's Grow, US$99 a month (US$69 annual), which also adds a second user, HubSpot and Klaviyo, and hidden fields so the UTM from your ad rides along with the quote. If you want the calculator on a standalone page at your own domain rather than embedded in your site, Grow includes one custom domain and Scale includes three; extra domains are US$10 a month each. Embedding itself is on every plan, one website per account until Scale.

Live-funnel caps are the other number: three on Start, five on Grow, twenty-five on Scale at US$199 (US$139 annual). Plenty for a consultancy with two services and a qualifier; not for an agency building calculators for clients. The free plan is real for building and testing, but paid features only run in drafts there, so don't plan to go live on it. The trial of a paid plan wants billing details and starts charging on day 15 unless you cancel; put the reminder in your calendar the day you start it.

Best for

  • consultants and agencies who quote from a formula
  • qualifying leads before a call
  • anyone who wants scoring and a CRM without another tool

Not for

  • a simple contact form (overkill)
  • anyone who won't pay US$99 to lose the watermark
  • people who won't put a card on a trial

Drawbacks

  • Watermark stays until Grow at US$99 a month
  • Three live funnels on Start
  • The paid trial converts automatically unless you cancel inside 14 days

Plans (USD, checked 2026-09-13)

  • Free: Free (Free) — 50 submissions or 500 visits a month; paid features work in drafts only, so treat it as the plan you build on, not the one you go live on
  • Start: US$49/mo (≈A$74) — 3 live funnels, 1 user, 1 website; formulas, conditional logic, answer scoring, emailed results, built-in CRM, Zapier, Stripe (US$29/mo billed annually)
  • Grow: US$99/mo (≈A$150) — 5 live funnels, 2 users; removes the watermark; 1 custom domain included (extra domains US$10/mo each); hidden fields, HubSpot, Klaviyo (US$69/mo billed annually)
  • Scale: US$199/mo (≈A$302) — 25 live funnels, 5 users, 3 websites, 3 custom domains; A/B testing, webhooks, e-signatures, custom CSS (US$139/mo billed annually)

Outgrow documentation-based

Outgrow is the cheapest way on this page to get a working calculator with formulas and a lead capture: Freelancer Limited at US$22 a month on monthly billing, or US$14 a month if you pay US$168 for the year. Five pieces of content and 250 leads a month, which for a solo consultant with one pricing calculator and one qualifying quiz is enough. The 7-day trial runs on the top plan and doesn't ask for a card.

The number the pricing page doesn't lead with is branding. Outgrow's logo stays on your calculator on Freelancer Limited, Freelancer Pro and Essentials; the plan that removes it is Business at US$720 a month (US$600 annual). Essentials at US$115 lists branding removal and a custom domain "with small business incentive", a condition the page doesn't define, so if you're small, ask before you buy and get the answer in writing. Custom-domain hosting sits on Business too; embedding on your own site works on every plan, including the free one.

The ladder is the other thing to price in. Freelancer Pro at US$45 (US$25 annual) takes you to 1,000 leads and full logic; the next step is Essentials at US$115. Where Outgrow earns its keep is interactive content beyond calculators: quizzes, assessments, recommendations, polls, all on the cheap tiers. If that's the plan, it's excellent value with the branding on. If it's strictly a quote calculator that looks like yours, involve.me Grow or Calconic gets there for less.

Best for

  • the cheapest working calculator if the branding doesn't bother you
  • quizzes, assessments and recommendation tools as lead magnets
  • solo consultants with low lead volume

Not for

  • anyone who needs the vendor's branding gone on a budget (that's Business)
  • a calculator on your own domain without the Business plan
  • agencies building many client calculators on the cheap tiers

Drawbacks

  • Outgrow branding stays on every plan below Business at US$720 a month
  • Content-piece caps on the cheap plans (five, then seven)
  • The step from Freelancer Pro at US$45 to Essentials at US$115 is steep

Plans (USD, checked 2026-09-13)

  • Free Forms/Surveys: Free (Free) — 100 leads a month, 4 content pieces, 1 user; forms and surveys only, no formulas or logic, Outgrow branding
  • Freelancer Limited: US$22/mo (≈A$33) — 250 leads a month, 5 content pieces, 1 user; formulas; logic listed "with small business incentive"; Outgrow branding stays (US$14/mo billed annually, US$168)
  • Freelancer Pro: US$45/mo (≈A$68) — 1,000 leads a month, 7 content pieces, 1 user, full logic; Outgrow branding stays (US$25/mo billed annually, US$300)
  • Essentials: US$115/mo (≈A$174) — 7,500 leads a month, unlimited content, 3 users; branding removal and custom domain only "with small business incentive" (US$95/mo billed annually, US$1,140)
  • Business: US$720/mo (≈A$1,091) — 50,000 leads a month, 10 users, removes branding, custom domain via CNAME, team email notifications (US$600/mo billed annually, US$7,200)

Typeform documentation-based

Typeform is the form everyone recognises: one question at a time, designed to be finished. Calculations, scores and variables are on every plan, including the free one, so a quote with a sum and one conditional is well within it. What it isn't is a lead-scoring tool with a pipeline behind it; the result goes to your inbox or your CRM through an integration, and that's where it ends.

Pricing is by responses, and a completed quote is a response. Ten a month on the free plan is a test, not a live calculator. Basic at US$29 (US$25 annual) gives you 100 a month and follow-up emails to the respondent, which is the piece a quote calculator needs. Plus at US$59 (US$50 annual) is the realistic plan for a consultancy: 1,000 responses, three users, the branding gone, and a custom subdomain. A full custom domain is Enterprise only, so if the calculator has to live at quote.yourfirm.com.au, this isn't the tool; embedding it in your existing site works on every plan.

Buy it for intake and applications where the experience is the point, or for a quote whose maths is simple and whose look matters. Don't buy it to run a sales pipeline off the results.

Best for

  • intake forms and applications where the experience is the point
  • brands where the form's look matters
  • a calculator with a simple sum and a good-looking result

Not for

  • lead scoring and a pipeline (you'll add another tool)
  • a standalone page on your own domain (Enterprise only)
  • high response volume on a budget

Drawbacks

  • 100 responses on Basic runs out fast on a busy page
  • Custom domain is Enterprise only; Plus gives you a subdomain
  • Branding removal starts at Plus

Plans (USD, checked 2026-09-13)

  • Free: Free (Free) — 10 responses a month, unlimited forms, logic and calculations included, Typeform branding
  • Basic: US$29/mo (≈A$44) — 100 responses a month, 1 user; scores, calculations, variables and follow-up emails to respondents (US$25/mo billed annually, US$300)
  • Plus: US$59/mo (≈A$89) — 1,000 responses a month, 3 users, removes branding, custom subdomain (US$50/mo billed annually, US$600)
  • Business: US$99/mo (≈A$150) — 10,000 responses a month, 5 users, drop-off analytics, priority support (US$83/mo billed annually, US$996)

Calconic documentation-based

We have no affiliate relationship with Calconic; it's on this page because it's the cheapest way to put a quote calculator on your website with your branding and the result emailed to the prospect. Light is US$6 a month billed quarterly (US$18 a quarter) or US$5 a month if you pay US$60 for the year. There's no monthly option at all, which is the only pricing trick on the page.

What you get on Light is the whole simple job: formulas, an embedded widget, emailed results, PayPal and an order form, with Calconic's branding removed. What you don't get is anything downstream: no lead scoring, no CRM, no A/B test, and the page doesn't state a user limit. Note what it meters, too. Calconic counts views, not completed quotes, and Light's cap is 2,000 a month on quarterly billing (3,000 annual). Put the widget on a busy page and you'll be on Regular at US$17 (US$14 annual) sooner than the quote count suggests.

Buy it first if you're not yet sure prospects will use a calculator at all: the cost of finding out is US$18. Move to involve.me when the answer is yes and you want the quote to land in a pipeline.

Best for

  • a simple estimate embedded on a site you already have
  • getting the vendor's branding off for the price of a coffee
  • a first calculator before you know whether prospects use it

Not for

  • a standalone page on your own domain (it's embed-only)
  • lead scoring, a CRM or a pipeline
  • anything where views, not quotes, will blow the cap

Drawbacks

  • No monthly billing: quarterly or annual only
  • No CRM or scoring; leads arrive by email notification
  • Views are what it meters, and a busy page eats 2,000 a month quickly

Plans (USD, checked 2026-09-13)

  • Free: Free (Free) — 5 calculators, 500 views a month, Calconic branding, no emailed results
  • Light: US$6/mo (≈A$9) — billed quarterly (US$18); or US$5/mo billed annually (US$60). Branding removed, emailed results, PayPal and order form. 5 calculators and 2,000 views a month on quarterly; 10 and 3,000 on annual
  • Regular: US$17/mo (≈A$26) — billed quarterly (US$51); or US$14/mo billed annually (US$168). 10 calculators and 10,000 views a month on quarterly; 20 and 15,000 on annual
  • Bold: US$55/mo (≈A$83) — billed quarterly (US$165); or US$44/mo billed annually (US$528). Unlimited calculators; 50,000 views a month on quarterly, 75,000 on annual

Questions people ask

What's the cheapest way to put a quote calculator on my website?

Calconic Light: US$6 a month billed quarterly, or US$5 billed annually, embedded on your existing site with the Calconic branding removed and the result emailed to the prospect. Every tool on this page embeds on every plan, so "on my website" doesn't cost extra; what costs extra is removing the vendor's branding (Outgrow: Business at US$720; involve.me: Grow at US$99; Typeform: Plus at US$59) and hosting a standalone page on your own domain (involve.me Grow, which includes one; Outgrow Business; Typeform Enterprise only; Calconic can't).

Do any of these handle GST or tax in the quote?

All four can multiply a value by 10% in a formula. None of them is tax software, none knows your obligations, and a calculator showing a GST line is not compliance. Treat the output as an estimate and say so on the form.

Can the calculator send leads to my CRM?

involve.me has a built-in CRM from Start and native HubSpot and Klaviyo from Grow. Outgrow and Typeform push to most CRMs natively or through Zapier; check your specific CRM against the plan table before buying. Calconic sends an email notification per lead and has no CRM; ask the vendor about webhooks before relying on it.

Are these prices in Australian dollars?

No, all four bill in US dollars. The AUD column is indicative at the rate under the table, refreshed daily. GST may be added at checkout for Australian buyers; supply your ABN if registered. Watch the billing toggle on the vendor pages: involve.me, Outgrow and Typeform default to the annual figure, which is 17 to 44 per cent below what you'll pay month to month.

How were these tested?

The test workflow is one consultant quote: base fee, unit count, rate, one conditional (rush), an emailed result and a results screen; it's the example inside the tool above. Each product is built against it in turn and labelled tested when done. Sections still marked documentation-based describe the vendor's published plans and are replaced as each test finishes. Prices are re-checked on a schedule and the date is under the table.

How we tested and how we're paid

The same quote (base fee, units, rate, one conditional, emailed result, results screen) is built on each tool in turn, on an account we control; products are labelled tested as each build is finished, and documentation-based until then. Screenshots are ours. Prices come straight from the vendor pricing pages on monthly billing, with the annual figure alongside; the check date is on the table. Links marked "affiliate link" pay us a commission. Calconic pays us nothing and is here anyway.
